How light is light?
Is colour an illusion?
Does the sublime exist?
The artists Christian Eckart, Herbert Hamak and Adrian Schiess explore the phenomenon of light in very different ways. They work with a monochromatic approach to pure colour that makes light visible. Thus colour turns into an active event that changes in relation to the shade and the intensity of light, or the claim is made that painting can depict the undepictable. The exhibition “Reflections of Light” has the artists enter into a complementary, contradictory dialogue, poses new questions and contributes to an exciting discourse.
